Four Simple Steps to Your Event
Booking is designed to be the easiest part of your whole event. Here's how it works.
Choose Your Event Size
Start with your guest count. The Gathering covers up to 10 painters. The Celebration is up to 25. The Community is built for 26 and beyond with a custom quote. Not sure which fits? I'll help you figure it out.
Select Your Pottery
Every package includes your choice of pottery piece — mugs, plates, bowls, figurines, vases, banks, and seasonal options. Choose your favorites when you book. Mixed selections are available for larger groups.
Add Any Upgrades
Want to round out the experience? Add a custom hand-painted keepsake plate, a banner design, freshly baked cookies, or cupcakes. All add-ons are selected during booking.
Pick Your Date & Secure It
Choose your date and submit a $100 deposit to lock it in. Your date is not confirmed until the deposit is received — so if you've got a date in mind, don't wait on it. I'll reach out within 48 hours to confirm your details and answer any questions.
Before Your Guests Arrive
I arrive 35–45 minutes before your event start time — enough runway to get everything set up and looking right before the first guest walks in.
Tables and chairs set up in your space
Access to water for paint buckets —
flag it when you book if that won't be available
That's it. Everything else — pottery, paint, brushes, supplies, table cloths, and instruction — I bring with me.
What Happens at the Event
Once your guests are settled, I walk everyone through the painting techniques they'll use — color blending, brush control, layering, detail work. Nobody gets dropped in and left to figure it out alone.
If it's a guided project, I take everyone through every step together so the group moves as one and no one falls behind. If it's open painting, I circulate and give individual guidance so every person feels supported the whole time.
You get to be a guest at your own event. That's the whole point.
When the Painting Is Done
When the last brushstroke is done, I begin breakdown — and I'm out in 30 minutes or less. I take everything with me, including all the garbage. Your space goes back to exactly how it was before I arrived.
Your finished pottery pieces come with me to be glazed and kiln-fired. Finished pieces are delivered back to the host within 5–7 days.
What Actually Happens to Your
Pottery After
This is one of the most common questions I get — and it's a good one.
I do not bring my kiln on site. For safety reasons, all pieces are taken back to be fired in a professional kiln.
Here's what that process looks like:

Your painted pieces are coated in glaze, then fired in a kiln that reaches over 2,000°F. At that temperature, the glaze melts and fuses to the pottery — creating that glossy, finished look you see on the final piece.
Once firing is complete, the kiln has to cool completely before anything can be removed. Pieces cannot come out until the kiln reaches below 100°F — which is why the turnaround is 5–7 days, not same day.
